Meet Dani! She is a highly skilled Grooming Specialist who graduated from Pet Grooming Studio Academy, where she completed over 300 hours of hands on training, with a strong focus on safety. As a Fear Free certified professional, Dani is passionate about ensuring a lower stress experience for your pet, using gentle, tailored techniques to minimize fear and anxiety. She’s also certified in pet first aid and constantly seeks new ways to enhance her knowledge, staying up-to-date on the latest in pet care. Dani is the proud mom of four ‘kids’: Raine, River, a playful Cockapoo named Whiskey, and a sweet miniature poodle named Waffles. Before launching her grooming career, she spent more than 12 years in the hospitality and event industry. During her maternity leave midst the pandemic, Dani embraced her lifelong passion for animals and pursued the most rewarding career – working with dogs. Dani can’t wait to meet you and your pup(s)!
Meet Sarah! She started her journey in the world of grooming as a bather and quickly fell in love with every part of the job. She always prioritizes making sure every pup feels comfortable throughout the entire grooming process. Now as a pet stylist, Sarah is focused on providing a safe and welcoming environment for every dog that steps into the salon. She’s not only dedicated to making your dog look their best, but feel their best too! Sarah has two pups at home that she considers more like little brothers – Tux, a Miniature Schnauzer, and Coco, a Yorkshire Terrier. Growing up with them has shown her how dogs truly are part of the family and bring so much joy into the lives of everyone around them. Sarah has always loved animals and feels so lucky to work with dogs every day. She’s thrilled to be part of the Pup Care team!
Meet Tessa! She has always had a deep love for animals, with dogs holding a special place in her heart. Growing up, her father was a breeder of Chinese Shar-Pei’s, so it was only natural that she gravitated towards a career in dog grooming. An avid Equestrian for over 20 years, Tessa is no stranger to hard work and dedication. As a groomer, her goal is to create a positive and rewarding experience for every dog, especially those who may find grooming challenging.
Meet Megan! Megan has always felt a deep connection with animals and knew from a young age that she wanted to pursue a career working with them. She discovered that grooming was the perfect way to combine her love for animals with her desire to make a positive impact in their lives – helping pets not only feel their best but look their best too. Megan is a graduate of the Animal Grooming program at Northern College, where she developed her grooming skills with a strong emphasis on safety, gentle handling, and understanding animal behavior. Since graduating, she has gained over three years of professional experience in the grooming industry. With every groom, Megan prioritizes the health, comfort, and well being of each pet, following the philosophy of humanity before vanity. She takes pride in creating a calm and caring experience for her clients’ beloved companions. At home, Megan enjoys spending time her two cats, Lilly and Daisy.
Meet Jaylin! Jaylin has been passionate about animals for as long as she can remember. Her extensive experience in the pet industry, including managing a leading retail pet supply franchise, allowed her to connect with fellow pet parents and help find solutions tailored to their pets’ needs. This experience sparked her interest in dog grooming and inspired her to help dogs look and feel their best.
Jaylin completed a pet grooming course with ICS Canada, providing her with a strong foundation before joining the Pup Care team. Since then, she has continued to develop her skills through hands on experience and mentorship and has grown into her role as a Grooming Specialist. In addition to caring for her own grooming clients, Jaylin continues to play an important role throughout the salon, assisting fellow groomers when needed, supporting clients at reception, and helping keep the salon clean, organized and running smoothly. Jaylin values hard work, embraces opportunities to continue learning and takes a patient, caring approach with the pups in her care.
Meet Emilia! Emilia has always had a love for animals and made the decision to leave her career in nursing to pursue her passion for working with dogs. Before joining Pup Care, Emilia gained hands on experience working as a dog walker and in a busy dog daycare and boarding environment, where she developed experience with bathing, nail trims, coat care, dog body language and working with dogs of different personalities and needs. Her background in nursing has also given her a strong foundation in patience, attention to detail, safety and compassionate care. At Pup Care, Emilia plays an important role in keeping the salon running smoothly. As our Bather & Salon Assistant, she helps prepare pups for their grooms, supports our grooming team and helps maintain a clean, organized and welcoming environment. At home, Emilia is a proud dog mom to Noodle and Koda, two mixed-breed pups who helped inspire her love of working with dogs.
