Hello! My name is Danielle but you can call me Dani. I graduated from Pet Grooming Studio Academy where I was mentored by two amazing experienced groomers. This was a 300+ hour intensive hands on grooming course that focused a lot on the safety issues associated with grooming. In addition, I am a fear free certified professional which means I am committed to preventing and alleviating fear, anxiety and stress in pets during the grooming process. I use special techniques that are gentle and accommodate your pet’s comfort level. I have also obtained my pet first aid certificate. I am committed to ongoing training and I believe that learning never stops!

I have three beautiful kiddos: Raine, River and Whiskey (cockapoo). We treat Whiskey just like our human kids and he will always be the first child in my eyes. He prepared me for motherhood and took on the role of big brother right away. When my kids were babies he helped them with tummy time and gave them a live stuffed animal to play with. Prior to grooming, I was in the hospitality and event industry for over 12 years. Coming off of an 18 month maternity leave with my second baby during the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic was not easy. My event planning career was at a stand still. I decided it was time to pursue something I was passionate about from the start – animals! But mainly dogs!

I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. I’ve had dogs and parrots growing up. When I was younger I remember doing a school project to explore becoming a veterinarian but didn’t pursue this because I felt like I was never good at science/biology! I ended up studying hospitality and tourism and had a successful career in event planning. Fast-forward, I’m so happy that I took this leap of faith to pursue my passion for dogs and pet care.
